LEARN TO MUSH Our premier trip is our Learn to Mush, 2.5 hour dogsledding experience. This trip is geared for the Adventurous Family, couple or traveler who wants to experience the Thrill & Excitement of driving a dog sled team. We teach you and provide the opportunity for participants to drive a sled (to drive you Must be at least 120lbs and mature enough to handle responsibility of driving the sled). This is a hands-on experience- not just a ride. This is not a sight seeing tour, This is having fun with the dogs, and working together with the dogs and our staff. It is not geared for passive, unengaged spectators, but for people who want an interactive dogsledding experience. All Ages welcome

Dog Sled Immersive Experience

Our Dog Sled Immersive Experience is for our guests that want to dive deeper into the world of sled dogs and huskies. Learn about their diet and how to cook their food and chop meat, learn to harness and/or unharness them. Use the tools of the trade: axe, speedy stitch & awl, brushes, nail clippers, cross cut saws, learn tricks of how to handle dogs and more. This a great opportunity for people that want to really get hands-on with the dogs. This experience can be added on before or after your tour.

Snowshoe / Snowtrek with Huskies

This is a wonderful experience to enjoy with our sled dogs. Take a stroll or snowshoe trek with our Malamutes and Huskies along our packed & well-marked Nature Trail. The trail winds its way on a loop around our 120 acre leased forest preserve. We have trees and tracks labeled throughout the stroll to learn while you walk, as well as items cached to look for and learn about (antlers, arrow heads, etc) This is fun for families and people of all ages. Snowshoes, poles, Backpack, Husky pack, Snacks, drinks and a Handsome Husky, and leash included.

Hot Tent Camping (heated tents)

Join us in our wood-heated wall tents and tipis for an overnight camp-out. This combines all of our trips and add-on's for the Ultimate Winter Adventure. Arrive late afternoon, and go on a snowshoe trek with a Handsome Husky. Then enjoy a catered dinner and hot drinks around the campfire. You'll be blown away by the night sky, solitude and serenity. Listen to the howls of our huskies and the distance responses from neighboring wolves and coyotes. Go to bed early and snuggle deeply into our winter weight sleeping bags. In the morning, watch the sunrise and have a hot breakfast delivered from a local deli. Then go out and meet the dogs and get hands on experience with the huskies, doing our Dog Sled Immersive Experience. Afterwards have a mid-morning hot beverage before going out on a Learn to Mush Dog Sled Experience.
